All of the blankets from WTW Blankets are handmade by the owner, Jennifer Karst. Located at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota since October 2018. 

We understand that you are excited to get your new custom minky in your hands, so trust that good things take just a little bit of time. There are a few steps that go in to each custom handmade minky. As we go through the customization part of your order we'll discuss a more precise eta. Average TAT is 6-10 weeks. I try to get them to you as soon as I can. Every blanket is handmade, then Jennifer personally goes through and inspect every stitch before it is shipped to you.

Stitching may not be 100% straight but I guarantee that every stitch was inspected and carefully done to ensure the highest quality on every blanket. Every stitch was backed with love, care, and attention to detail. 

Everything is handmade by only one person so please be patient with any made to order items.

Minky plush fabric is a super-soft synthetic, hypo-allergenic fabric made from 100% polyester fibers that are knitted into varying weights and pile heights. While quality differs between brands, all minky fabric is a knit fabric, which gives it the ultra-soft feel while maintaining durability. The majority of minky fabric on the market is one-sided, meaning the plusher, fur-like texture is only on the top side. 

Care instructions couldn’t be easier either — minky fabric is machine washable (gentle, please) and can be dried in the dryer on low or no heat, or even hang to dry!

TEXTURES

As far as textures go, minky plush fabric can be embossed into several different styles through a heat-setting process. These embossed textures are a great way to add depth to any project — not to mention they change the overall feel of the fabric.
